Who doesn’t want to be untroubled?
If someone can take away obstacles from our future trails, we would surely submit.
‘Break a coconut’, is what they would say.
In all likelihood, the only predicament when the act of ‘breaking’ is considered auspicious. The ritual of ‘breaking a coconut’ is an Indian tradition performed at the initiation or commencement of anything ‘new’. Stemming from Indian mythology, this ritual placates Lord Ganesha (The Elephant headed God) who ‘breaks’ all the hurdles which He can envision prior to their actual manifestations.

 And obviously we gave in!
